I've been busy for the past five days since arriving in Cebu on the 14th.
The visa renewal process is complete, and I will receive my 13E visa in January.
I was actually supposed to return yesterday, but there were no ships on the schedule, so I'll be returning to Osamis on the 8 PM ferry tonight.
Today I went to Country Mall to buy Japanese groceries.
This is Country Mall.
My first job in the Philippines, back in 2002, was in the building directly across from this mall.
As expected of a shopping center in Cebu.
Even outside of Ayala, SMcity, and Gaisano, the selection is extensive.
I bought a few things, like miso, at the grocery store.
And for lunch, see 'Ofuku-san'.
Gigi ordered nabeyaki udon.
Nabeyaki udon in the hot Philippines?
It was for some inexplicable reason, 'It's winter in Japan, isn't it?'.
Even in 'Very delicious', I ate without breaking a sweat.
I had eel and tempura.
Recovering my energy in the daily heat of Cebu...?
After that, at Gigi's request, we ordered sushi one piece at a time.
Gigi can now eat Japanese food too.
By the way, the bag Gigi is holding is a complimentary item given to customers who spend over 1000 pesos at Kagura Restaurant.
I really like it.
Well, we'll arrive in Osamis tomorrow morning.
I'll be able to see Lily and Loroy again after a long time.
