The house construction is progressing to painting the interior walls and building the kitchen.
This is Gigi's proud balcony.
The pillars on the balcony are cylindrical.
We wrapped a sheet of tin around a reinforced concrete column and then poured cement into it.
This is the dining kitchen.
I had this window made into a bay window.
Exterior wall construction on the parking space side.
The installation of the sewage tank has begun.
However, the foundation of the exterior wall got in the way, causing the tank to tilt.
Since we didn't have cranes or chain hoists, it took us a whole day to manually level the foundation.
Incidentally, after digging just 2 meters, groundwater started to well up, and the workers were completely soaked while they worked.
Kitchen sink.
Here, several problems arose.
I had planned to put the refrigerator in the front, but when I went to the electronics store and looked at the refrigerators, they only had ones that opened from left to right.
Because it was inconvenient to use, we had 70 cm removed from the right side of the sink and decided to put the refrigerator there.
We also changed the plan to place the gas range in the front space, making better use of the dining area.
However, just discussing this with Gigi took two hours. In the end, I went to the site at 8 pm, took measurements with a tape measure in hand, and finally convinced Gigi.
As for the car, it's still not running well.
At the construction site, we're allowed to park in the parking lot of our neighbor, Sir Subrabas.
When I tried to go home in the evening, the engine wouldn't start at all.
Mr. Subrabas himself drove the car and towed it to a large repair shop.
The fuel pump I ordered previously, although labeled "Osaka Japan," appears to have been a counterfeit made in China with no manufacturer name listed.
Apparently, similar problems are occurring frequently, so we've arranged to have the genuine product reordered.
And while the repairs are being done, Subrabas-san has kindly agreed to lend me his car.
I don't even know when the repairs will be finished, and yet I'm constantly being taken care of, so I don't know how to express my gratitude.
Gigi is shocked to learn that the fake has already broken down.
Gigi was even more shocked to learn that the cost of genuine parts and repairs would exceed 10,000 pesos.
You really shouldn't put Chinese parts in a car made in Korea. *Hands clasped in prayer.*
