For about two months now, my car's air conditioning has been malfunctioning; sometimes it wouldn't turn on, and other times it would shut off unexpectedly. I took it to a local repair shop because it hadn't been able to be turned on at all for about a week.
However, after simply checking the relays and wiring, I received the response "'I don't know. Take it to a dealer in Cagayan or Cebu.'". I had already researched the same areas they had investigated, so I didn't have high expectations...
In particular, the fact that the air conditioner suddenly stops working is life-threatening for Lily and the children due to heatstroke, so I decided to investigate it myself again.
This is the air conditioning control panel that was removed. We further disassembled it and removed the circuit board containing the internal electronic components. The switch is working normally, so I suspect a solder crack or something similar that is not easily visible. I cleaned it thoroughly with desoldering wick that I ordered from Japan, and then redid the soldering.
So I did a test installation and checked it, and lo and behold, the compressor, which hadn't worked at all before, started working properly!
I broke the plastic part of the wire hook when removing it, so I repaired it with epoxy. Lotlot is very dexterous and reliable when it comes to this kind of work.
After installing and testing it in the car, it now responds to the switch and allows me to turn the air conditioner on and off. When I told Gigi that the repairs were finished, he said1 Million Kisses"That's what they said."
