Please forgive me for the lack of photos of Lily for the past few days.
Well, I bought a used Suzuki truck at a bargain price, but the oil level is dropping unusually fast, so I took it to a repair shop.
The diagnosis was that the piston rings and piston liners were worn, so the engine will be overhauled.
The engine is in pieces.
But surprisingly, Gigi had the repair shop write down the faulty parts on a piece of paper, and then went around to parts stores himself to buy them.
Piston rings, piston liners, gaskets, clutch-related parts, etc.
Apparently, this is to reduce repair costs as much as possible.
This car is from around 1989.
It's been almost 20 years, so wear and tear is inevitable.
In this country, it's not so much about vintage cars, but rather the reality that it's normal to repair and drive older cars.
Even after repairs, problems such as oil leaking from near the seals, difficulty shifting gears, and, worst of all, the engine not starting at all persisted.
I managed to recover after a week in the hospital.
