Cavalier, Lily		 This day last year...

The rented house has no ceiling and the corrugated iron roof is completely exposed.
I've been using mosquito coils, which are available for purchase, but the smoke just escapes, making them practically ineffective. I've been battling mosquitoes for the past few days.

So, when I asked Gigi to install a ceiling, her husband Junjun immediately started the work.
Apparently, Junjun's father was a skilled carpenter and the head carpenter, and he had many servants.
Sadly, he passed away at a young age due to illness, but Junjun and his siblings inherited his skills.
The carpenters I saw in Cebu last year were so hard to tell if they were working all day or slacking off.
I was worried because the construction wasn't progressing no matter how long it took, 'Filipino carpenters are probably no good.'
Junjun and his younger brother finished the ceiling work for one room in half a day.
It was all finished by evening.
Thanks to the mosquito coils, the mosquitoes fell down in droves, and I was able to sleep soundly at night.
