Enter through the door next to the parcel delivery counter on the far right of the first-floor entrance, and after walking a short distance, you will come to another door. Previously, there was no intercom; you would call the security guard, tell them your destination, and they would unlock the door for you.
Receive your admission pass in the lobby and take the elevator to the second floor.
After getting off the elevator and turning left, you'll find the animal quarantine station.
Lily's dad made a mistake in the documents he submitted electronically, so he corrected them himself at the office. I had entered the date for last year's rabies vaccination incorrectly by one day.
After the documents are checked, a quarantine officer will read and verify the microchip.
After that, a brief physical examination. Here too, Lily was charming the veterinarian. Incidentally, this person also read Lily's Diary. I received the compliment 'This is very useful information for people traveling abroad with their dogs.'.
Export quarantine procedures were completed without any problems this time as well. Just to reiterate, the veterinarians at the quarantine station at Kansai Airport start work at 8:30 a.m. on weekdays and at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays and holidays. Early morning flights may require quarantine procedures the day before. It is essential to confirm these requirements in advance.
