Cavalier Lily's Diary: Severe Diarrhea (2008/02/19) Cavalier, Lily	This day last year... February 19, 2007.
Wow, Last year on this day, I was hospitalized in Cebu due to diarrhea and dehydration. One year later, on the same day, Lily went to the hospital with diarrhea...
I returned to my apartment from my parents' house on Sunday night, and Lily peed and went to sleep that night. On Monday morning, when I went for a walk before going to work, half of my poop was diarrhea. Then, when I checked on Lily via live camera from the company, I saw that she was defecating on top of the toilet. When I rushed home, I found diarrhea everywhere in the room, including bloody stools. Lily was trembling in the corner of the room. It's almost as if they're saying "'I'm sorry, Daddy. But my stomach hurts.'." Of course, I'm not angry with Lily. I also became discouraged and sent Gigi a 'Please come here now.I need you in my life' on Skype.
Following last week's vomiting, this week I have diarrhea. Since she had been experiencing diarrhea regularly in the past, the cause remains unknown even after examinations. We've decided to switch our dog's food from Eukanuba Custom to Science Diet Senior.
I received intravenous fluids for two consecutive days, even when I was vomiting. I received IV fluids twice this time, yesterday and today. The second time, she resisted and struggled a bit, but after that she calmed down, which was a great help. But still, he looked nervous.
After the IV drip, they trimmed my nails and checked my anal glands, and that was it. Even though she gets injections and IVs, she loves the doctor's office and loves the doctor.
Lily is sitting quietly in the waiting room. Lily is usually very happy and her tail is always wagging, and the nurses always talk to her a lot, but today she's quiet, perhaps because her stomach hurts.
