| Philippine Airlines miraculously (lol) departed Kansai Airport on time and arrived in Manila on time. However, contrary to what I had heard beforehand, Lily's animal quarantine in Manila was not required. Because I had planned to change my 3 PM connection to 5 PM to account for the processing time, I ended up with a lot of time to kill. A free Wi-Fi access point has been set up in the departure lobby of Manila. But for some reason I can't connect to the internet (crying).  |

| Lee made me wait for a long time, but it seems they kept me indoors during the layover. When I saw it once in Manila, it was making a somewhat whiny, almost pleading sound, but it was calm at Cebu Airport.  |

Gigi's mother, sister, and cousin came to pick her up at the airport. |

| Or so I thought. Everyone came to welcome Gigi back from Japan.  |

| We were taken to AA BBQ by the hotel's pick-up car. Rufina seemed nervous throughout because she doesn't speak English, but she was able to have a short conversation with Gigi acting as interpreter.  |

The farewell party continued late into the night. |
