Dinner.
When I asked my mother to cook the beef she gave me, she ended up frying it in oil until it was completely blackened, just like in the Philippines.
But I've gotten pretty good at cooking everything else.
Gigi started attending Japanese language classes.
The International Exchange Church runs a volunteer-run class once a week, and apparently, each student has their own dedicated teacher.
The only problem is taking the bus from Tsukaguchi to Amagasaki. It's quite difficult because you can't understand the language and the announcements are hard to hear.
So, I gave them a piece of paper with the route number and destination written on it, and we rode the bus together for a practice run.
After that, apparently, from the second time onwards, they were able to get on and off the bus without having to show the paper.
They told me that they really enjoyed studying.
Gigi happily reported to me that she went to Hotpot for lunch, using the code 'She helped me put on a kimono.'.
They seem to be enjoying themselves very much every day.
