Cavalier, Lily		 This day last year...
November 9, 2007.
Last year, I asked someone at my company to obtain the import permit for dogs from the Philippines, but this time, I asked Gigi's sister's husband to obtain it for me.

Just like last year, I sent the following letter via Yahoo Messenger, had it printed, and then took it to the animal quarantine station at Pier 1 in Cebu.
Of course, I had already transferred the fees, ferry fares, and meal expenses from Japan to Metropolitan Bank in advance.

Since I would like to accompany my little dog, I am writing to ask you to issue the Import Permit.

My dog's specifications:
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel,
4 years old, female,
5 kgs.
ID No.392143000049961 (Microchip ID),

Upon arrival at the airport of entry, I will produce the Veterinary Health Certificate issued by the relevant government authority,
The Animal Quarantine Service Japan, certifying the health worthiness of my dog including effective vaccination.
I am aware of the necessary fees payable to your Quarantine Officer.
I am appreciative for your kind attention and look forward to receiving the Permit.

It was shipped via FedEx in SM and arrived in Japan three days later.

This is Lilly's import permit.
Since this trip will be via Manila, animal quarantine will be conducted at Manila Airport.
The 350 peso fee has also been paid.
