Cavalier Lily's Diary: To the Mountain Farmland(2010/10/10) This day last year...
October 10, 2009.
I went to a farm in the mountains on Sunday morning.
Lily is also looking forward to her arrival.
After driving along this kind of road for about 10 minutes...
This is our farmland.45,000 m².

The corn harvest is over and the seeds have just been planted, so it's rather sparse, but there are lots of banana trees planted there.

We plan to build a pigsty on this farmland in the future, but the problem is water.
According to the neighbors, even if you dig a well, it dries up within a few years.
It is likely that there is no underground water source.
It looks like we'll have to dig quite deep.

Currently, as part of a barangay project, we are planning to construct a system to draw water from the neighboring mountain using hoses.
If this works, we'll be able to get water and move forward with the pigsty project.
A tree bearing bananas.
I think this is a sight that people in Japan don't often get to see.
Bananas laden with fruit.
In Japan, 5 to 8 bottles would cost around 180 yen. Now, how much would it all cost?
This is a papaya tree.
There are lots of papayas growing.
It's still a little too early to harvest.
You probably won't see this in Japan, but it's called 'Jackfruit'.
