Jinny’s Pregnancy Pillow (October 16, 2026)

Jinny is now four months pregnant.
Her tummy is getting bigger day by day, and she says, “I can’t fit into my jeans anymore.”
I’m told the baby is still roughly the size of an avocado.
Seeing her growing tummy makes it feel all the more real that our baby is growing inside.

From the side, you can really see the curve of her tummy.
It is exciting to think that it will grow even bigger, but carrying it around every day looks tiring for Jinny.
I want to help her feel as comfortable as possible.

This photo shows models comparing a baby’s size at different stages of pregnancy. The one circled in red is the 16-week model.
Looking at it this way, the baby still seems so small. Jinny says the baby is still about the size of an avocado.
I find myself imagining how our little one will grow in the months ahead.

The pregnancy pillow I ordered from Shopee has arrived.
It has two pink cushions joined by a strip of fabric in the middle.
Unlike a large body pillow, it looks as though it will not take up too much space on the bed.

The pink pregnancy pillow that has arrived

Jinny is trying it out right away, lying on her side with a cushion beside her tummy to see how it feels.
I hope it helps ease her back discomfort and lets her sleep more soundly at night.
We’ll see how comfortable she finds it as she starts using it.

When her tummy gets bigger, I wonder whether a large U-shaped body pillow like this one would be better.
In the product photo, it wraps all the way around the body and looks quite different from the pillow that has just arrived.
It is hard to tell which would be easier to use just by looking at the pictures.

This is all new to Daddy. I keep going round in circles, wondering what I should get to help her.
If you have been through this yourself, I would love to hear what helped you or which kind of pillow you found comfortable.
