My daughter Jolyna's boyfriend, Jim (2026/08/16)

I brought my boyfriend home for my daughter Jolyna.
And today, the day before my 22nd birthday, we enjoyed a birthday dinner together.

When I sent "'Where are you now?'" on my smartphone, I received a photo of a yakiniku (Japanese barbecue) restaurant in return.
I sent 'That looks delicious, I want to try it next time.' and received 'I'm on a date, but do you want to come over now?' as a reply.

While I'm happy that my daughter has a boyfriend, as a father, I have mixed feelings.
I told the two of them that they have two years left until they graduate from the nursing program at Midena University.

Daddy
I respect your decision to spend time with your boyfriend, but please don't forget that your studies should be your top priority.
Jolyna
Yes, Dad, that's always my top priority. Thank you. ❤️❤️

Daddy
As Jolyna's father, I have only one request. She is currently studying hard to become a nurse, and that must be her top priority. My wife and I are doing everything we can to support her in achieving that dream.
Please keep that in mind at all times and support her as she pursues her goals. 🙏
Jim
I fully understand and respect what you're saying. I sincerely appreciate you contacting me and expressing your concern.
We will always support Jolyna's studies and her dream of becoming a nurse, and we will prioritize her goals and future above all else.
Daddy
Yes. Please take good care of Jolina.
Jim
Of course, Sir! I will definitely do so. I will always do my best to cherish, respect, and make Jolyna happy.
Thank you for trusting me. ❤️

They say that women become more beautiful when they fall in love, and as a father, I think my daughter looks happy and has become even more beautiful.

While I was on a date, someone who was at my house barged in.
According to Jolyna's sister Jenni, it's 'This is the Filipino style.'.
