| Cavalier Lily's Diary: I Bought a Mango Farm(2011/03/06) |
This day last year...
March 6, 2010. |
I previously purchased the mango farm that I had first visited.
Approximately 70 trees are planted in an area of about 13,700 square meters.
The price was 1.4 million pesos (2.8 million yen).
We're all going out now to prepare the mango farm.
 |
Last week I went to Cebu Island for about five days,
I bought a large scale for weighing pigs, this engine-powered lawnmower, and a garage jack for car repairs.
 |
In the Philippines, I went all the way to Manila to look for a metal gasoline tank, but I couldn't find one.
Buying gasoline in plastic bottles is extremely dangerous.
I bought a Japanese-made portable gasoline tank from Rakuten's online store.
 |
Mixing 2-stroke oil with other oils and putting it into the engine.
I ordered another gasoline tank and an oil mixing tank for the farm.
 |
The children are full of energy.
Climbing trees, swimming naked in irrigation ditches
Lily joined in the water play.
 |
Lily is soaking wet too.
I just used Frontline today...
I'll buy it tomorrow and start over.
 |
Taking a break after running around the farm.
 |
While the men mow the grass and sweep up fallen leaves, the women chat by the well.
 |
Gigi also really liked this farm.
I'll probably be going back and forth between the pigsty and the mango farm for a while.
Incidentally, there are plans to build an even larger pigsty at this mango orchard.
