Cavalier Lily's Diary: Visiting a Mango Farm(2011/02/06) This day last year...

Today we all went to see a mango farm that we're considering buying from.
Lily was overjoyed to be going out after such a long time.
However, it's still the rainy season, so there are puddles of water and muddy patches in some places.
Lily and Loroy were running around covered in mud.
It's difficult to see the foreground, but there are 70 mango trees planted there, as you can see.
Mango trees are sprayed with a special spray when they want to bloom.
The middleman handles all the work, and the owner just sleeps and waits.
The owner's share is about 40% of the harvest.

Sometimes heavy rain or strong winds can completely destroy the flowers and fruits, so while the owner's share is small, it's a low-risk method.

There are irrigation channels to supply water to the rice paddies, so we don't have any problems with water.
Lily and Loroy, who had turned completely black, were being washed.
There are always lots of people around me.
This is another rice field in a different location that I'm considering purchasing.
It's so wide that even with a 200mm telephoto lens, it looks like this.
The mango plantation covers approximately 13,700 square meters and has 70 mango trees.
The price is around 1.4 million pesos (approximately 2.8 million yen).
