There are 11 sows.
Currently, there are three mothers raising kittens; two are due to give birth this week, and the remaining mothers are all pregnant.
Hanging room.
This is a special room for nursing. We fed the piglets milk here for 28 days.
Today, all the piglets will be separated from their mothers, who will be returned to their living quarters in 10 days.
Then it mates with a male pig again, and this cycle repeats.
Twenty piglets, 28 days old.
I'll be spending a month here.
Charlie will be working as the manager of the expanding mango farm and pigsty.
Currently, there are two workers in this pigsty, including Charlie.
I play classical music or music with a gentle tempo all day long.
This might be the only place in the Philippines that plays anything other than disco music (lol).
This is the area for piglets that are 3 to 4 months old.
They grow to about 100 kg each before being shipped.
A single piglet sells for an average of 10,000 pesos.
That means where I am now25 animals for a total of 250,000 pesos.(500,000 yen)
The cost of feed and injections for the piglets is about 80,000 pesos over four months (the exact price is currently being calculated).
If things go smoothly, you could earn around 200,000 pesos in cash every two months.
Expanding the mango farm with a pigsty...that would be amazing...
Apparently, they're the second richest family in Clarin, after the mayor.
