Cavalier Lily's Diary: I caught a cold.(2011/02/11) This day last year...
February 11, 2010.
During this season, the rainy season, it's quite cool in the mornings and evenings.
In this tropical region where daytime temperatures can reach 38 or 40 degrees Celsius, people in the Philippines feel cold when the temperature drops to 24 degrees Celsius.
Gigi even took out a pair of socks and put them on.

Gian was also sniffling, so I got out my long-sleeved sweater and put it on him.

And everyone around me is coughing.
Charlie, the energetic manager, had a bad cold and was hospitalized for about five days.
Because he underestimated the severity of his cold and was unable to eat, Gigi rushed him to the hospital by car that night.
And for the past three days, I've been bedridden with chills, a headache, and a sore throat.
I really love you Gigi for buying me cold medicine and mouthwash.
And Lily.

Whenever I feel a chill, Lily will come and snuggle up to me.
When I feel hot, I make sure to get out of bed.
Whenever I felt cold, Lily would snuggle up next to me and I would sweat a lot.

Since moving to the Philippines, Lily has never slept next to me at night.
But this time, when I caught a cold, for some reason Lily offered to sleep next to me.

Historically (about 400 years ago), there is a record of it being referred to as 'They would warm their owner's knees and feet, sometimes even acting as a substitute for a hot water bottle.'.
Lily has clearly inherited that trait.
