Lily flying (January 17, 2005) Showa Memorial Park
Since Lily's dad didn't have any work appointments, we went to the dog run at Showa Memorial Park again.
Look at Lily's dignified sitting posture! I can't beat Robin, though.
Today, we had the dog park all to ourselves, so we tried out some hurdle jumping.
I show them a baby biscuit and get them to sit down.
I move away from the hurdles. With a bolo in my left hand and a Nikon D70 in my right, Lily jumps at 'cam'.
It would probably be difficult to capture this moment without a D70.
Of course, I've included only a few of the many failed shots here. This is the result of taking a large number of photos with a digital camera.
Next is a panning shot of the dog running around in the dog park.
It was hard to believe that last time she was so scared of the big dog that she wouldn't run. The photographer was so busy trying to keep up with Lily's movements that he didn't have time to decide on the composition.
On the way home, I made sure to greet any dogs I encountered. I can even greet large dogs as long as they don't bark at me.
