Cavalier Lily's DiaryLily's Smiling Faces Special 7/12 (2018/01/12)
I've compiled a collection of photos of Lily smiling, who passed away on July 15, 2012.
Seeing photos of people smiling brightly and looking directly at the camera is very soothing.
Since there are so many photos, this will be a 12-part series.
Island Tour (2007/04/30)
Located on Mactan IslandAquamarine Ocean Tours.(Aquamarine Ocean Tours Cebu Inc.)
I went on an island tour run by Japanese people.
I was captivated by my daughter as she ran, with her beautiful face.
Beach Lily rides a jeepney in the middle of the night (2007/05/12)
I was invited to a birthday party the Kagura massage staff are having on the beach, and I'm 'Lily's dad should come too!'.
Apparently, the trip starts at midnight, right after work, with 12 people boarding a jeepney and heading to the beach.
Many websites and books about the Philippines advise tourists not to ride jeepneys.
Moreover, my boss told me that if a Japanese person were to board at night, they could be held up and, in the worst-case scenario, even lose their life.
But I was encouraged by 'It's okay because it's reserved for our group.' and ended up getting on.
CheChe, who came in the evening, seemed like a very kind girl.
I explained the basics of how to interact with Lily, how to play with her, and how to take her for walks.
She has owned a Golden Retriever before, so you can rest assured that you'll be able to entrust the dog to her.
A contract for 1500 pesos, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm.
I asked them to come on the morning of June 12th.
I went on a one-night trip to Camotes Island with some colleagues from work.
After traveling to Danao by car, it's about a 1 hour and 30 minute boat ride.
Since the beach was shallow, Lily and I went for a swim together.
In Japan, my only experience with swimming was playing in the river in Hinohara Village, so this was my first time swimming seriously in the ocean.
The photos were taken with a FUJIFILM FinePix F11 and a WP-FXF10 (waterproof case).
Look at that majestic swimming style!
The area in front of the hotel is a walking path, and there are observation decks everywhere. Incidentally, the hotel is built on a rock, and you have to go down stairs to the beach.
Farewell Party (2007/08/12)
I'll be returning to Japan with Lily at the end of August.
I spent about seven months on Cebu Island, and I think I was happy, together with Lily.
When you search for information about Cebu Island and the Philippines, you'll find stories of people being scammed or having frightening experiences.
There aren't many good stories to be heard, such as Japanese people being killed,
Thanks to you, I was able to spend my time happily and cheerfully.
However, after some reflection, I decided to leave this place.
However, I have absolutely no idea what my life or work will be like once I return to Japan.
However, there was no point in dwelling on it, so I started making preparations such as arranging for Lily's return to Japan and sending her belongings back.
Someone we met on Cebu Island threw a farewell party for us.
