| Cavalier Lily's DiaryImmigration of Ozamiz (2018/01/08) |
I went through the process of getting my I-CARD reissued at the Cebu immigration office on August 31st last year,
I went to Osamis to pay my 2018 taxes, as they now have an immigration office in the new Gaisano Mall building.
 |
Then 'Please bring copies of your passport and I-CARD.'.
moreoverhttps://vua.immigration.gov.ph/registration.aspxI was told to obtain a reference number.
 |
Records show that I left Japan on December 1, 2008, and entered the Philippines on the same day.
 |
The yellow card at the top is the old I-CARD.
My mistake last August was that I didn't realize my visa had an expiration date because the "Visa Valid Until" was listed as "PERMANENT."
Departure canceled (2017/08/31)

This is the newly issued I-CARD

This is the tax I paid to immigration last year.
A penalty has been added to the unpaid amount for the six years from 2011 to 2017.
 |
This is the tax I paid for the year.
Only 310 pesos
Even though I didn't know about it, I paid 15,370 pesos last year, including penalties, which is a significant loss for me.
 |
After immigration, I went to a computer shop to buy a USB printer cable.
I was looking for a 2m or 3m cable, but they were out of stock, and I was told it would take more than a month to get one.
So I bought a 1.8m cable that was in stock.
 |
Even though I only bought a printer cable, they put it in such a nice paper bag.
 |
Now I don't have to bring the printer next to my laptop every time I want to use the scanner.
