A potato stew party was held in Yamagata City today.
Our event has been going on for 16 years. The young participants have now had children, grandchildren, and more.
It's a gathering that only happens once a year, but I'm really looking forward to it.
This old man's cardboard box safe, 'Kowa Giken', is the representative troublemaker who has been keeping this box safe for 16 years.
Lily also got a name tag.
I was counted as one of 6,000 people over 16 years!
Lily is in ecstasy, holding a pair of disposable chopsticks in her mouth.
Oh yes, Lily even gave an interview to the local 'Sakuranbo TV'.
Lily stands beyond the steam rising from the imoni (taro stew).
I left Yamagata at 3 PM and arrived home at 8 PM. I slept in my bag the whole way. I was half-asleep when I heard 'I've arrived!''s voice.
After the trip:
I was worried about a lot of things before we left, but Lily was a very good girl during the long drive and at the hotel.
The accommodation was also very nice, and they gave us a warm welcome.
When Lily returned home, she had a slightly more mature look on her face.
